Our intro expense analysis and cost analysis tool is very rudimentary, but it's all most folks need.

1 - Business Expense Analysis
This is just a spreadsheet. You can add and subtract any items you'd like. Most accounting packages don't have good/easy budgeting tools if at all so most who do this do it in spreadsheets anyway, and truth be told this is always a better fit for spreadsheets than any DB interface. Also, these categories seldom match up directly to Accounting Categories as these are more about "plain English" analysis and they are just estimates, so nothing need be perfect.
2 - Profit Analysis
This is an awesome tool for folks who need to gauge monthly or annual sales based on daily or weekly production. This is very valuable when getting people up to speed on finances who otherwise have not paid attention to it or have no real experience with it. We use the center table with the red dots around it the most, but all can be valuable tools.
This is just a spreadsheet, so all numerical ranges can be changed easily. This works best when billable services are estimated for each day/week as opposed to actual collections, and that is a trick we'll get into later when we discuss the Point of Sale module.
